Finding Your Dance Voice at Contradiction Dance
An Eclectic fusion workshop with Na’la of Shakra
Beginners encouraged!
Teen and Adult

We are all so fortunate to live in a world where our choices of dance classes are very plentiful indeed!  But how do you know what is right for you?
Here is your chance to try several different types of dance in one affordable workshop.  We will touch on the beauty and strength of bellydance isolations, the fun and freedom of African Dance, and the dramatic flair of theatrical expression, all in an easily digestible format for beginners like you!  Come explore what your body can do and discover what your heart desires to dance.  For many people, finding a dance style that is right for you is like returning home after a cold and rainy day away…..Ahhhh……

“There is true power in dance.  The ability to be express myself with my body has changed my life.  It is empowering, it is liberating, and it can inject passion into a person’s life.  This is why I dance.  This is why I teach.  To illustrate and demonstrate the magnificent and powerful things our beautiful bodies are capable of and to tell a story without ever opening my mouth to speak.”
-Na’la
